In 2019, the Club will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of the British Schoolgirls’ Races. Your Committee felt it would not only be appropriate, but also fun, if we had a special week in Flaine at the same time. Several of us will be there for the whole time so there would be plenty of opportunities to ski together with a chance to watch the races at the beginning of the week.
The races are on the 28th and 29th January and a celebratory dinner will be held on the 30th January at the Chalet Michet. There will be events all week, but if it suits you better, you are welcome to join us for just part of the week.
The AICC races are being held in Murren on 15th and 16th March 2019. LSC are entering a number of teams in U45, 45-60 and over 60 categories, and most of the team members plan to spend the whole week in Murren, skiing and training in preparation for the races, but it would be possible to come out just for the 2nd half of the week. >>Contact Joanna Milner-Percy for more details<<
