Donate to The Ladies’ Ski Club

The Ladies’ Ski Club (LSC) supports British female snowsport competitors by providing grants to individual athletes at various stages during their career; these grants are funded through our racing fund. LSC is a volunteer run club, and hence costs are kept to a minimum, enabling a large proportion of the annual subscription income to go towards funding athletes; unfortunately this is insufficient to cover the full annual cost of our grants and we need additional funds to continue providing this valuable support.

We have a number of different ways in which you can donate to our racing fund to provide further support to our athletes:

increase YOUR annual subscription to include a donation

Your current annual subscription is only £20 and is paid by a standing order from your bank account; you can amend your standing order to increase the amount you pay each year to include a donation through your on-line or mobile banking or by contacting your bank.

Leave a legacy to the LSC in your will

If skiing has been an important part of your life you might like to consider leaving a legacy to LSC in your Will so that we can continue to support British female snowsport athletes in the long term.

If you have already made a Will you can still help the LSC by adding a Codicil to your existing Will. There is no limit on how many Codicils you may make but a Codicil is only suitable for straightforward alterations. The Codicil will need to be signed and witnessed in the same way as your Will and should be kept in a safe place with your Will. Please do not write on or amend your current Will or it could become invalid. We have drafted a simple pro forma codicil which can be found here. We recommend that you consult your solicitor before completing this pro forma Codicil.
